The thoughts of an everyday Mommy and Wife-. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Some of the happenings around our house during Christmas Vacation. We made it through some VERY cold weather. We attended some good basketball games. My son is shooting the free throw). Lindsey fixed McKenzie up "pretty" with a blue headband. She also helped Mommy bake cookies. A little Christmas tea party. Can't get any cuter than this. Cousins got together to be CRAZY and wild! Candy canes were enjoyed. His love never fails.

The pattern is called Windy Days because of the Pinwheel and Windmill blocks. I fell in love with this pattern the second I saw it in a book (sorry, can't remember which one) from our local library. I immediately copied off the pattern and instructions, knowing that some day I would make this one! I sure hope so, because I am far from perfect! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARLA!
