Configuring your email software. Assumption: your email address is iamauser@thisisadomain.com. It is possible that you will not be asked for your domain . If not, do not worry, it is not essential. A secure (SSL) connection is available, but uses a certificate for the main server name which is fryp.com. This will cause errors if you try to connect using SSL. You have two options:. Whilst it’s a reasonably serious bug it requires shell access which, needless to say, is strictly limited on our server and as close to impossible to get without a password as I can make it. Configuring your email software. February 1, 2015. Over the last two days I’ve made a variety of updates to the server. The updates were necessary due to a security vulnerability in an older piece of software. Upgrading the software required upgrading other components, which then required updating further components that had dependencies on the intermediary components (yes, it really does get that complicated sometimes).
