Breakfast in Hobart: February 2007
http://hobartbreakfast.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Ponderings over Breakfast and Reviews of Breakfasts. Friday, February 16, 2007. Finally got out for breckie again this morning; it's been a while sadly. I have finally conceded that my children are not at good ages for public eating sessions; it's too stressful. So I am restricted (even more) in when I can get out for a review. Plus I'm attempting to lose a few kilos, so over-consumption is not an option. My coffee was Strong. Too strong for me really, but there was no bitterness so I was able to sti...

Breakfast in Hobart: second drawer dilemmas
http://hobartbreakfast.blogspot.com/2007/02/second-drawer-dilemmas.html
Ponderings over Breakfast and Reviews of Breakfasts. Monday, February 12, 2007. Here's the ugly fugly kitchen, as promised. In 3 months time it will be living in a shack on the Tasman Peninsula and it's replacement will be providing me with hours of pure joy. If I could eliminate all the unnecessary clutter in that second drawer, I feel that my life would be changed. I would become less stressed. Less frustrated. More peaceful and calm. First to go is the novelty potato peeler shaped like a grinning pota...

Breakfast in Hobart: White Pepper
http://hobartbreakfast.blogspot.com/2007/03/white-pepper.html
Ponderings over Breakfast and Reviews of Breakfasts. Wednesday, March 07, 2007. Am I the sole remaining fan of this delicious condiment? I like it so much, I sprinkle it liberally. And I prefer it to black pepper. It lingers tantalisingly on the palate and has a certain freshness of flavour that I find lacking in it's darker cousin. Like you, our tribe of young ones love the white pepper.they think black is evil. Well done Nellie, I have been a white pepper fan forever(seems like it). Sir Grumpy but Fair.

Breakfast in Hobart: Ticking over, just
http://hobartbreakfast.blogspot.com/2007/04/ticking-over-just.html
Ponderings over Breakfast and Reviews of Breakfasts. Friday, April 20, 2007. Ticking over, just. Mmmm, I'm a little quiet of late, eh? No excuses except the usual: baby not sleeping at night, busy exhausting days trying to entertain 2 kidlets, gymming as much as possible (getting fit and losing weight, hooray! 10kg so far) and cooking lots of meals. Oh yeah, and the house renovations, which continue slowly but surely. Check out the "kitchen" now. Some highlights of the last few weeks:. Miss 2yo muttering...

Breakfast in Hobart: November 2006
http://hobartbreakfast.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Ponderings over Breakfast and Reviews of Breakfasts. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. I truly love this cafe. It's my local, and I try to go there for a coffee at least once a week. I love that the staff know my name and my coffee. I love that they remember the names of my kids and ask how they are. I love the way way they make their coffee. And the food's pretty good as well. The menu has a few interesting-looking dishes such as green eggs and ham (scrambled with pesto) which I imagine I might try some day.

Breakfast in Hobart: December 2006
http://hobartbreakfast.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Ponderings over Breakfast and Reviews of Breakfasts. Tuesday, December 19, 2006. But I digress. Back to breakfast, woman. My sister and her husband will join me, Mr Nellie, Miss 2 and Master 7mths for breckie. I have been happily salivating over cookbooks and food magazines looking for inspiration for what to present. And made the lazy-ass decision to do as little as possible. Hope you all have a good one too. Ho Ho Ho. Thursday, December 14, 2006. Tuesday, December 05, 2006. It's 8am on a Sunday morning...

Breakfast in Hobart: Kitchen dreams
http://hobartbreakfast.blogspot.com/2007/02/kitchen-dreams.html
Ponderings over Breakfast and Reviews of Breakfasts. Friday, February 09, 2007. My baby boy is 9 months old today. He's a gorgeous wee thing;. I think is the term. A bit like his mother in that regard. So happy birthday Lewis. xx. Say "I told you so", but his rock-hard poached eggs that arrived nearly an hour after he arrived were somewhat disappointing. Apparently he enjoyed his coffee when it eventually arrived, but any chance of ordering a second was slim. Better run, poor birthday boy has been watchi...
