Tuesday, September 02, 2014. Why is it so hard to make just the right amount of rice? It seems so miserly to run out of rice at the dinner table, but sometimes the leftover rice is just uninspiring. 250gm cooked rice ( nice and moist ) (8.8 ozs). 250 gm caster sugar (8.8 ozs). 1 Tablespoon golden syrup. 1 tbsp olive oil.

After a terrific season with the bat in the UK I returned to Sydney cricket with a knowledge that conditions may not suit me quite so well as they did in the UK. Finally we have pictures of our new place here. For the last few months we have been busy painting and preparing the place. If moving house is a big job we made it significantly bigger with us painting all rooms of the house apart from the laundry and garage. Next job is the garden, which while not too bad requires some TLC.

Natalie and I have some exciting news: Natalie is pregnant and we are expecting our first child in mid-December. It is very exciting for us and we are both looking forward to our family growing at the end of the year. The pregnancy though, seems to be going well with tests so far being positive.
