Sunday, February 8, 2009. Catching up about Life and Carlow's Surgery. Hi everyone I just wanted to leave a quick note we have survived the ice storms. We were in Lexington staying with friends (THANK YOU Tracye, Joe and Lexie! Carlow's surgery went really well we won't get to see his hands until Feb. 24, 2009. But the Dr. told us that his little finger that wouldn't bend is now bending and looks like the removal of the small polydactyly was all that was needed. God BLess you all and Hug your family today.

Hi everyone, Tomorrow we are going to Lexington going to spend some time with Aunt Tracye and take our boy to Shriners. He has appointments for both his hands and feet. May 1, 2009. Well, it's Friday again! How many Friday's have passed since I last posted? So, why is the Friday Frenzy! Ok, today was a pretty typical day except that in the afternoon I had to drive my daughter, Bekki, to a location that was not so close and navigate a very busy Friday afternoon road-system that is just plain crazy and scary! September 19, 2008. Still here and enjoying the end of summer days. Enjoying herself on the playground. They have suffered thru two terrible hurricanes this season which have left them with no power on the island! Larry and Aimee are there right now and things there are very bleak. I look forward to hearing more and seeing the photos that Aimee has taken. She is a very talented photographer. I think our kids enjoyed this long summer and were ready for some directed activities! I know that N was for sure!

August 24, 2010. Emma little Chinese friends at her Chinese dance class. Our happy child, Emma! A visit in Sept. with my son, Nathan, and his friend, Tony while they were driving west to begin their lives as Californians. He loves living in SanDiego. AUGUST 23, 2010. I have finally caught up with the blog. I think it's time for a new look here and perhaps a new name. I'll get back to you on that! So, it's August and summer is coming to an end. We sure have had a hot one! Yes, the little mermaid is real!
