Where unconditional love becomes visible. This is Digger, a Chocolate Lab whose young life came to an abrupt and sad end last year. I did this painting as a surprise for my friend Tony Fernandez whose heart was and is still broken over the loss of his “little” buddy. Digger was just a year old and this was the only clear photo Tony had of him. May your little soul rest in peace as you are surely missed down here by those who loved you! This painting was done on a 20×20 canvas in acrylic. Here again, we h...

Where unconditional love becomes visible. This is my little Chihuahua, Toby. This piece was finished on September 26, 2010 and was painted in acrylic on a 24×18 stretched canvas. This painting was created in water-soluble oils a few years ago. It is 16×20 and represents one of my first efforts in pet portraiture. Here we have Dustin and Sophie, my two sweet Dachshunds, both gone now but not forgotten. Bailey’s First Cousin. Check out this link to see some adorable character designs by my friend Leslie.

Where unconditional love becomes visible. What a wonderful experience it was to paint this little character. A white dog is always a challenge but I greatly enjoyed it and the reflection is what made me select this particular photo of my little Canadian model. Walter and his very own portrait up in the cold lands of Toronto, Canada. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Abby | Paws 4 Walls

Where unconditional love becomes visible. Abby, a well-loved rescue, is being honored with her very own portrait this Christmas (2010). This is a surprise for her parents. It is an 18×24, acrylic painting that took about 24 hours to complete. Here is the progression video of this piece. I played Santa today and delivered Abby’s portrait. She and her family loved it! Even Grandma liked it and that makes me feel so happy. Merry Christmas to Shannon and Edwin. Dec 24, 2010. Dec 25, 2010.

Where unconditional love becomes visible. This is my daughter’s dog who was begging for his own portrait after he saw that his cousin, Toby, had one. I was experimenting with a bold color background this time to see if I liked it and I do! Here again, we have a 18×24 canvas, painted in acrylic. Oct 21, 2010. My baby boy is looking good! Where unconditional love becomes visible. This painting was done on a 20×20 canvas in acrylic. Oct 30, 2010. I saw the photograph of this horse that was used as a model by Nicky, and her painting captures the dynamism of this beautiful animal even better than the photograph. Oct 26, 2011.
