A blog either stunningly wideranging or with no concept of focus whatsoever! Friday, May 29, 2009. The big wardrobe change. I had this afternoon blocked out to put my winter clothes away and get my summer stuff out. As always I was delighted to rediscover so many lovely items of clothing. I also believe that there clothes that have to be put away for a few years and others that you suddenly see potential that they just didn't have before. I'm fed up with trousers that wear out too fast. And baked for bit.

A blog either stunningly wideranging or with no concept of focus whatsoever! Wednesday, August 26, 2009. What’s in a name? Ever wonder why this is pretty little blog and not some other title? Which is the first blog I can recall reading and being excited about visiting daily. I think I was also quite into the idea of making part of my living online. Seduced by the glamour of the dot com. I’m shutting down Pretty Little Parcels. One of the biggest problems with my life (and it’s a blessing really! No plac...

Salad of pasta, green olives, sweetcorn and a teeny bit of Mr Singh's chilli sauce. Slices of red pepper and cucumber. Thanks for Using Mr. Singhs Sauce! Hope you enjoyed it! How to be happy.

A blog either stunningly wideranging or with no concept of focus whatsoever! Tuesday, August 11, 2009. What's in my lunchbox this week? After a few weeks of eating up random leftovers and being in locations that didn't require a lunchbox I'm very pleased with how this one has worked out. Admittedly I'd run down supplies of fruit and veg to almost nothing which I felt justified indulging in all the lovely seasonal produce on the market. Clockwise from top right:. Slices of tomato and red onion.

8216;Reading Matter’ exhibition. A little knowledge is a frustrating thing. January 16, 2013. I’ve found that Google really is your friend (sound advice I was given at the start of my time at the Telegraph, which has stood me in good stead ever since) and have been learning as I go – and developing a healthy respect for anyone who does this as their day job – it’s an immense job! A few useful links and interesting articles I’ve found along the way:. Amazing social media buttons from Carrie Loves. You are...

Why perfection is like a unicorn | Etc Creative Collective
https://etccollective.wordpress.com/2013/02/22/why-perfection-is-like-a-unicorn
8216;Reading Matter’ exhibition. Why perfection is like a unicorn. February 22, 2013. Don’t get me wrong, I love unicorns. If you’ve ever read a book by Robert Vavra, you’d love unicorns too. But when we chase perfection, it’s a bit like chasing a unicorn. Realistically you’re. Not gonna catch it. And even unicorns aren’t always perfect, as this chap illustrates rather beautifully. If you must, you can go back and revise it but once it’s out there, you can get on with creating more stuff. Which is, a...
