Monday, 19 July 2010. I've written my first pattern. It's winter here in the Land of Oz and it has been very, very chilly in the mornings. I have really needed something to keep my hands warm. And I've come up with these:. They are made out of 8 ply wool, although the pattern is easily adapted to 10 ply, they're crocheted in the round so that you can fit them as you go. And they're super quick to make. When I can fit blogging into this crazy, busy life of mine.). I could call them Little Dorrits, perhaps?

I've been very busy over the last couple of months; on the left you can see my first tunic, which took me over a year to complete on size 4mm needles. It was worth it though; the pattern is gorgeous even though it looks more complicated than it is. Cosmic Crafts: Red Alert - Freestyle Knitting
http://cosmiccrafts.blogspot.com/2011/03/red-alert-freestyle-knitting.html
Idle Hands are the Devil's Tools. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Red Alert - Freestyle Knitting. Strange things happen when I do freestyle knitting; first, I buy yarn I fall in love with, in this case it's Rico Creative Melange Chunky in red code 002. I bought three balls and wondered what to turn it into, so I went to find inspiration from pattern books. Whilst casting on, I changed my mind about the shrug and decided to knit in rounds to create a cropped tank top instead. Labels: cable lace pattern. Find me...
Cosmic Crafts: Meet Frank...
http://cosmiccrafts.blogspot.com/2009/11/meet-frank.html
Idle Hands are the Devil's Tools. Thursday, November 19, 2009. This is Frank. My ex boyfriend. I knitted this spitting image of him over 25 years ago, when we were together. Some people say that I could now use this doll for voodoo purposes, but I have no intention to do so. In fact, if Frank had a knitted image of me, I'm sure he'd use it as a voodoo doll. The result is a jumper, some purses and bags, a scarf, a shrug and lots of other stuff. Thank you, Frank! Walk in the Woods. Love the Frank doll!
Cosmic Crafts: Things to Do with Granny Squares: Arm Warmers
http://cosmiccrafts.blogspot.com/2011/05/things-to-do-with-granny-squares-arm.html
Idle Hands are the Devil's Tools. Thursday, May 26, 2011. Things to Do with Granny Squares: Arm Warmers. What to do with granny squares? Blankets, throws, table cloths, bags, scarves.whatever. When I recently tried out a new design, the size of it (13cm square) fitted perfectly around my arms, and a light bulb moment sparked off the granny square arm warmer. All you need to do is crochet two granny squares (any design that takes your fancy) to a size that fits around your ar. April 28, 2014 at 3:41 AM.

Just another WordPress.com site. I’m a huge sports fan and I love college football so in honor of the Fiesta Bowl tonight I decided to make my quesadillas, and of course share them with you! These are super easy, especially if you use shortcuts, and you can make a lot at once for a party or for ‘Sunday Funday’ ( for the sports challenged, that’s a party where you watch NFL football games all day) or just one for yourself! Not a lot of clean up here either which is great. What you’ll need:. Pre-heat the o...

A Little Slice of Nothing
A Little Slice of Nothing. The eccentric ramblings of a bored man with no social life. Saturday, May 21, 2011. Let's all go to a little place called 1966. Yet here we are, one week on, two weeks away from the end of DW for a little while, and I’ve watched it again. And do you know what? It was good. Properly good. Oh, it wasn’t the best episode of the New Series by any means. But this episode actually had a story. Or, rather, it actually knew how to tell. It’s a classic base under siege. Capita...There a...
