Tuesday, April 29, 2014. These two were FedEx'd to NYC super quick to make their appearance on time. Next time I will make the neckline on the gray one differently but I like how they turned out overall. Monday, April 14, 2014. A unique take on an old favorite. I managed to get two mermaid fins done this week, I'm very impressed with my time management skills, I have to admit. I also have to admit it will probably never happen again. She lives near the LA fabric district, jealous much? Oh yes, a lot!

Monday, March 17, 2014. Mermaid in the Sun. It's a warm 80* day here and this little mermaid just sparkles like nothing else when she's out in the sun! Tuesday, March 4, 2014. These two are headed out to MY first customer. When I purchased the business just over 7 years ago I received a list of previous customers, they are great and I love having them, but there is a special place in my heart for the first customer that I won over and sold costumes to all on my own. The Chinese Princess is $450.

It's quite embarrassing to admit how long this Rapunzel was in the works.The client has special requirements for the fabrics that her dresses are made out of, specifically home decor type fabrics. Finding the right pinks and purples in that type of fabric takes a while, like maybe a year and a half kind of while to finally track down! Thursday, May 22, 2014. This was a custom order from a friend, she sent pictures of her cousin's (the bride) dress and asked for something to go with it.here's what I came up with. Beautiful beaded lace bodice. This was pretty expensive so I only bought exactly what I needed! This zipper started out as an invisible zipper and it was beautiful, but with all the bulk in the middle it took 3 people to zip so I switched it out for a traditional zipper. Tuesday, May 20, 2014.
