Saturday, June 28, 2014. Dear Irelyn: One and Two Months. I had a one month post for you in my drafts that just never got finished. So now you are two months old and I'm just going to combine the two! Your first month you were just about the gruntiest baby ever. Because of that you gained the nicknames Grunt-a-babe and Little Baby Grunting {among others}. You have since grown out of that and I have to say that I miss it quite a bit! You were bound and determined to poop every time your diaper was off!

Of course I said he could come over- who says no to free Cold Stone Creamery ice cream? He came over that night and I was in a really goofy mood. I was wearing footie pajamas and was being really weird with my best friend. Luckily he didn't run away. Instead of that he kept bringing up how he didn't have to work the next day and he would be free all evening. FINALLY instead of hinting that we should hang out he officially asked me on a date. Thursday, May 29, 2014. This whole mom of two thing was really easy for the first month. I had my brother and my mom here helping out so Holland was entertained and we just all soaked in that wonderful new baby smell and enjoyed lots of snuggles with almost no stress. Wednesday, February 19, 2014. I finally finished decorating Holland's room. We've been in our apartment for over a year now so that's good! I love that it's done! Monday, April 28, 2014. Holland’s birth twenty months ago was a pretty hard experience for me. (You can read about it here— part 1. And some of the after effects here. Thursday, September 20, 2012. This last month has flown by {very much the opposite of the month before}! In the past couple of weeks you have started "talking" a bit more and it is so cute! You do it most right after you wake up {before you get grumpy and want to eat}. You also have a little squeal that almost sounds like a laugh. We love to hear your voice!
