Why Machine Embroidery?: Making Plans or not?
http://machineembroiderybyaquilter.blogspot.com/2012/07/making-plans-or-not.html
Machine embroidery in quilts, machine and hand quilting and life on a farm. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Making Plans or not? I am most productive if I plan my days. I have read on some blogs that goal setting and detailed planning contribute to stress. So in the beginning of the year I thought I will just "go with the flow" and do what my hand find to do. I also want to make a handbag using an interesting pattern that I got from Interweave. Do you plan your days- or just go with the flow? What works for you?

Why Machine Embroidery?: Hand piecing and Barbara Johannah
http://machineembroiderybyaquilter.blogspot.com/2011/08/hand-piecing-and-barbara-johannah.html
Machine embroidery in quilts, machine and hand quilting and life on a farm. Thursday, August 25, 2011. Hand piecing and Barbara Johannah. Although I could only hand quilt it after my trip to the USA I could complete the top before I left. I experiment a lot with Seminole strips and till today use strip piecing whenever I can. ( Remember- I am a Stripper. Did I not read my book properly? I was unsure and realized how ignorant I was- here I want to go to New York and I did not even know it has 5 Burroughs.

Thankfullga447: Stitching, Beeswax and Canning.
http://thankfullga447.blogspot.com/2015/08/stitching-beeswax-and-canning.html
Please email me at gasuski@mac.com. Garden is from Lauritzen Garden in Omaha, NE. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Stitching, Beeswax and Canning. I am having lots of fun stitching. I told my husband if you see me stitching that means i am HAPPY. I love beeswax for candles and also for sewing, it makes my thread stiffer. A new book by Petra Ahnert has lots of good information. I brought in lots of tomato but it only made three jars. But that is okay. I also got in exercising. I hope you are having a great day.

Thankfullga447: A Good Day!
http://thankfullga447.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-good-day.html
Please email me at gasuski@mac.com. Garden is from Lauritzen Garden in Omaha, NE. Thursday, August 6, 2015. What is a good day for you? A good day is when I get up, had a good nite sleep, a good cup of coffee in the morning. I love it when I don't have to go anywhere - "yes" I have to water the plants at church, go exercise, visit a dear friend and bring her a meal. My "to do list" is minimal today. Starting a new project. Red White and Blue - check her out on Blue Ribbon Designs. Follow me on Bloglovin.

Dandelion Daydreams: June 2013
http://lizofdandeliondaydreams.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
2013 A Lovely Year of Finishes. Union Jack Block tutorial. Saturday, 22 June 2013. A Little Bit Wonky. A little bit wonky - thank goodness; that was the brief for our June *Fat Quarterly K* Bee! This Tallgrass Prairie inspired wonky log cabin block has to be THE most fun-to-make-bee-block ever. There was none of the usual; are my seam allowances spot on; or, is it perfectly squared up; or even, what fabric goes where, with this bee block. This was the inspiration. Source: Tallgrass Prairie blog. I know t...

Dandelion Daydreams: New Quilt News and Link Up
http://lizofdandeliondaydreams.blogspot.com/2013/10/new-quilt-news-and-link-up.html
2013 A Lovely Year of Finishes. Union Jack Block tutorial. Thursday, 3 October 2013. New Quilt News and Link Up. I've started on a new quilt. It was definitely time to use the gorgeous rainbow charms from the Fluffy Sheep charm swap. My Aunt asked if I could make her a bigger quilt and she loves colour, so I thought it could make the perfect combination. There were 8 colour groups in the rainbow swap, so I also used charms from the text swap to make up a simple 9-patch. This is as far as I have got.

Wisconsin Wheatleys: Wheatley Family Reunion 2013
http://wisconsinwheatleys.blogspot.com/2013/10/wheatley-family-reunion-2013.html
Friday, October 11, 2013. Wheatley Family Reunion 2013. The kids were actually really good for the flight. It helps that we had and ipad and Kindle Fire to keep them entertained with. Oliver loved looking out the window at the clouds and the land down below. I brought my own gallon size baggies for the return flight. The whole things was so embarrassing (although I will admit people were very kind about it) I think I will never fly again. The ride was beautiful. I miss all this open land and sky. As soon...
