http://liverpool-translated.blogspot.com/2008/02/interview-with-el-mundo-ahead-of-match.html
Liverpool FC news, interviews and newspaper pieces of interest, ETC. translated from its original Spanish to the English language for your enjoyment. Saturday, February 9, 2008. Rafa interview with El Mundo ahead of the match against Chelsea. Interview published today on Spanish national 'El Mundo'. Interesting part when he is asked about Pako, quite cryptic though. How big a setback is Fernando Torres’s injury for Sunday’s match? Is it safe to say that the Premier is the ideal competition for Torres?

Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Tuesday, 14 April 2009. I’ve supported Liverpool pretty much all my life and I have contemplated for a long while writing something about Hillsborough, never really being able to decide how or what to write about. Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Saturday, 18 April 2009. A powerful message has made a difference. On Wednesday at Anfield, the 96 people who died at Hillsborough 20 years ago were not just remembered and honoured, their long suffering families were given hope. It's a tragic story, is true. Ps, didn't know you had a blog. 22 April 2009 at 11:34. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. Subscribe in a reader.

Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Monday, 27 October 2008. Chelski 0-1 Reds: Setting the marker down. It's hard to put in to words just how monumental yesterday's win. There's so much that an be said about it. We've ended Chelsea's seemingly unendable four year unbeaten run in the league at Stamford Bridge, ended their highly impressive unbeaten start to the season and sustained our own unbeaten start. It is early days, we are o...

http://talkingredsblog.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Sunday, 22 March 2009. Momentum gives us a real shot at greatness. Momentum. A word we're used to hearing in football terms. Momentum helps a striker maintain a hot goal-scoring streak. Momentum wins football games. Momentum wins titles. At the moment Liverpool have momentum and they have it in abundance. When we're good, we're very very good. And yet it makes it all the more frustrating that we...

Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Wednesday, 18 February 2009. Close encounters of the Parry kind. First of all another apology for the lack of blogging recently. I always write a recap blog after weeks of inactivity with the grand intentions of making sure I update this more regularly but I inevitably don't. Mostly because of laziness, but also I tend to forgot the thing even exists which is an awful shame. They were walking an...
Talking Reds: August 2008

Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Sunday, 31 August 2008. A word on the stadium debacle. Of course the big news over the last few days is not the draw at Villa nor the imminent arrival of Albert Riera although we'd sure like it to be. No, instead the biggest news concerns matters off the field and those two losers who own our club. I doubt many were surprised by Friday's announcement. I mean seriously, do they think we're idiots?

First off apologies for the total lack of blogging over the past two weeks but internet or lack of put paid to any updates. But what great timing to be returning to action and toasting a fantastic victory at Woodison. In the bright Saturday afternoon sunshine. With Arsenal capitulating at home to Hull City. As the top ...

Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Wednesday, 30 July 2008. Villarreal 0-0 Liverpool: Another useful run out. With work, various personal commitments and the price of liverpoolfc.tv's e-season ticket denying me a chance to see a full 90 minutes of pre season up to now it was awfully nice of Sky Sports to screen tonight's friendly at the El Madrigal. Casting the eye over the first half team, at right back Stephen Darby has been ea...

Talking Reds: Last night and the next six

Musings on Liverpool Football Club. Some material here is also published at http:/ hughoconnell.wordpress.com. Wednesday, 15 April 2009. Last night and the next six. I haven't got too much to say about last night. Except everyone on that pitch did Liverpool Football Club and the memory of the 96. We could not have asked for more and it was only the cruel nature of Chelsea's first goal that swung the tie in their favour and gave them the confidence to finish off the tie even after a late scare.
