Shenanigans used to be. The Saddle Inn used to be. Renshaws used to be. The James Munro used to be. The former Brunswick Vaults. SOME PUB HISTORY and OTHER INFO. YE HOLE IN YE WALL. Built in the 1720’s on the site of a quaker meeting house and possible burial ground. The rumour says that the pub is haunted. This pub was one of the last pubs in Liverpool to let women in. THE LION TAVERN (MOORFIELDS CORNER OF TITHEBARN ST). Built in the time of QUEEN VICTORIA ,about 1841. THE SHIP and MITRE.
