Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Dallas Trip Grant's 3rd Birthday. For my nephew's 3rd birthday, Cole and I took a quick trip to Dallas. Tom had to work, so we flew solo (literally) and Cole did great on the flight! Friday night, we both experienced Top Golf for the first time. I will dare to say that I will not return with kids. It definitely has potential for a date night, especially with friends though! It was just a little tense keeping Cole away from backswings, chasing balls, taking turns, etc. From Life ...

Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Cole Henry: Two Years Old. My sweet Cole is two! Monday, August 18, 2014. On Saturday, we celebrated Cole's birthday with family! My parents came in from Austin, my brother and SIL from Houston, and Tom's family all from Dallas. Cole was in heaven with all his favorite people in one place. We let him play with them for a bit, then went out eat at the delicious Aldaco's, and let the official festivities begin after nap time. We are so thankful for everyone traveling to us! HOWEVE...

Thursday, December 19, 2013. DIY Chunky Floating Shelves. We finally decided on floating shelves. Our inspiration came from here. Of course Tom wanted to do his own thing, so they look pretty different. Look at that carpet! And tiny Wal-Mart TV stand. Ha! Our original plan. It quickly changed when the first shelf was quite a bit larger than I anticipated. Also, the bottom shelves would have been a little tooooo tempting for Mr. Cole Henry. Can't wait to decorate the shelves for the other 11 months of the...

Monday, October 28, 2013. Cole's First Pumpkin Patch. These 30 minutes were super sweet. Cole is in love with pumpkins, so he was definitely in his happy place at the pumpkin patch just down the road from our church. Enjoy! Goober found the wheelbarrow and fell in love. On Saturday, 31 people joined together to help bring sweet Nate home from Bulgaria. We raised over $2800 to help Clay and Jenny. Adopt their son and ran a crud load of miles in the process! Whitney's toenails are literally falling off....

The Inside Scoop: Quick Trips to Austin

Saturday, September 13, 2014. Quick Trips to Austin. Mimi's voices are pretty captivating. And squeaky. Born into a Braves loving family. Cole says hello to the "sleeping bunny. A quick trip to visit Morgan! We went to a free park in Round Rock. And it was amazing! Where Cole spends most of his time at Mimi and Pops'. Cole playing "timber" with Pops when he decided to jump forward into the hot tub instead of falling backward into Pops' arms. A good rescue by my dad! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, August 26, 2013. No Sew, Lined Curtains with Grommets. We have lived in our house for almost 9 months and I looked for curtains and fabric pretty actively the entire time. I am embarrassed to admit this, but I have purchased (and returned) 4 different types of panels and a roll of fabric before finally making a decision! I even considered repainting. Crazy. So I jumped into DIY mode. The fabric. The grommets were a last minute decision, but here is the list of materials I used for four 96" panels:.

Monday, February 17, 2014. Cole Henry: 18 Months. A year and a half. This is when I stop counting by months, right? This season of parenting has been so fun. I love my front row seat to watching Cole learn. He continues to be a fireball.playing at 100% until the moment he falls asleep. Every. Single. Day. Cole met his shadow recently. They've been buds ever since. Who doesn't love a pb&j or Chuy's free queso? Monday, February 10, 2014. Is a very very poor idea. Especially in small stores. No chicken pox&...

Saturday, April 5, 2014. We flew to Dallas in late March to celebrate G-Peg's 60th birthday! The weekend was so fun :) We took the boys to the Aquarium. Even though it was a Friday afternoon during Spring Break, we had a good time, the boys mostly enjoyed it, and we made it out alive. Cole's excited faces were the best. On Saturday morning the ladies went to the spa to enjoy 2 hours of pampering. It was heavenly! Cupcakes were a huge hit, of course. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
