Sunday, November 7, 2010. As a child who grew up in an environment where alcoholism was the dominant paradigm, I remember staring deeply into my fathers eyes and thinking to myself.where is he? It was like my real dad had left the building and there was this "other guy" in our house who had us all walking on eggshells. Funnily enough, by the time I was in my mid 20's, I found myself working in Drug and Alcohol and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services. Which came first we wonder? A very good question.
