http://lifelinetohaiti.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 5, 2010. We are getting geared up to go back to Haiti! My husband and I have 4 months to purchase infant formula and baby items to take with us to Haiti. It will be his first time on a mission trip and my second time. We are on a work team and hoping that means we will be building a house for a Haitian family. Links to this post. Rewards of A Colorful Existence: May 2009
http://commonrace.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Rewards of A Colorful Existence. Monday, May 25, 2009. I love family reunions! The most fun is when you don't know your relatives and you meet them for the first time. That's how I feel when we have a Spiritual Spa and the Lord blesses us by bringing my sisters together. We are the family of God and when we are in unity praising Him, the heavenly realms take notice! Posted by Spa TECH. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Next Roanoke Valley Prayer Squad Meeting. We start on time with Praise and Worship and then we pray.

Haiti through the eyes of a first time missionary!: December 2009
http://lifelinetohaiti.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 22, 2009. The Haitians are very resourceful people. There is an electric line that runs through the area. The government provides it for a fee. The Haitians can't afford to pay for the electricity so they slice into the wire and take it to their homes. Many have been electrocuted trying to find a way to give light to their dark world. I guess the government looks the other way and doesn't turn the power off. Links to this post. Friday, December 18, 2009. 160; People in America would thi...

Haiti through the eyes of a first time missionary!: March 2009

Tuesday, March 17, 2009. The town of Grand Guave was a miniature Port-au-Prince. Mush less traffic and people, but there was still a lot of trash everywhere with broken down buildings. One big difference was the dirt streets that connected to the main cobblestone avenue. The streets were so narrow I am amazed we could make turns. Finally we reached Lifeline Mission and entered through the guarded gate. Links to this post. Saturday, March 14, 2009. Links to this post. Monday, March 9, 2009. When we arrive...

Haiti through the eyes of a first time missionary!: April 2009
http://lifelinetohaiti.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Our tour of Grand Guave, Haiti. Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Today after breakfast we had a devotional about Rahab, the Harlot. Ruth Ann is a wonderful teacher and I tried to focus on the lesson but it was difficult when the beautiful sky was beckoning me to look up. You could hear the birds singing and the view of the mountains was breathtaking. After the ending prayer the newcomers were going on a little walk. Links to this post. Friday, April 24, 2009. Rewards of A Colorful Existence. Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Roanoke Valley Prayer Squad Meeting. Effort to do that but that we don't purpose to do otherwise. That is until now. We have this group of women who have had enough of status- quo. Hair, blue eyes, very white woman seek forgiveness for our race. It was one of those moments that you knew God was shouting AMEN from heaven. Our desire is now to show our community that we as Christians love one another by engaging in some form of community. I am the wi...
