Importing a car from an EU country. Greek Embassy in UK. Travel all year by bus. At the time of writing (March 2015), the bus to or from Athens is 26.10 one way, plus the ferry costs 7.50 one way. The bus ticket is obtained at the bus ticket office and can be bought a few days in advance. As well as the bus to Athens, daily buses run to Patra for shopping trips or other appointments at the hospital or clinics in the town. There is a twice weekly bus to and from Thessaloniki. 2016 Living in Zante.

You can book flights online or at most travel agents prices will vary as to the date you choose, usually you will find July and August the most expensive these are also the hottest months. If you don't mind the cooler days then May and October are much cheaper the weather can be wonderful but also there is the chance of rain and thunderstorms.
