The musings of a girl after God's own heart…. Of palm trees and penguins. It’s exactly 5:28 on a Saturday night. A very memorable trip, to say the least. But because I don’t have long to write a blog post and since a picture. Worth a thousand words, I’ll fall back to my usual relate-the-week-in-snapshots style. Starting the week off at Sea World. Waiting in line to ride the Manta. Oh yes. We were able to feed dolphins. Very easily my favorite moment of the entire trip. At Shamu Stadium to watch One Ocean.

Between preparing meals for Thanksgiving dinner while singing along to Disney soundtracks or Michael Bublé Christmas music and staying up into the early morning hours talking and watching movies, this holiday season always makes it into my list of top memorable weeks. Find Me Elsewhere / Contact Me! Wisdom From the Elderly. I've had the opportunity to work several hours a week with a sweet older couple in their nineties. They were high school sweethearts, he is a World War 2 veteran, they had 7 children, and were missionaries in two countries. While getting to spend time with them, I've learned a few things about their life that applies to someone of any age. First, growing old is a choice. Second, no one ever really figures it out. Third, people don't change with age.
