Living Outside the Jar. Culinary Adventures of a New Mother. Laquo; Sneaky Pete. How to Make Those Pinched Pennies Last…. How to Pinch Pennies and Still Eat Like a Queen. June 2, 2011 by haikilil. Gorgeous, glorious and affordable. A feast fit for royalty. I decided to use the one item that I would probably find buried in the corner of the vegetable drawer, mushy and sadly neglected. What does one do with a whole bunch of radishes? Let me tell you! And best of all, nothing goes to waste:. On June 9, 2011...

There are some items that won’t last as long as others, so here’s a website that gives you storage tips to prolong the life of your lettuce: CSA Food Storage. http://daveandabbeystclair.blogspot.com/2010/07/greyson-issac-arrives-week-early.html
Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Greyson Issac Arrives a Week Early. Our little bundle arrived at 3:55 on Thursday July 8. Weighing in at 6 lbs 5oz and measuring at 18 inches. Other than a few moments of low heart rate the delivery went smooth. Abbey was in labor for approximately 14 hours. We have been learning and getting used to all the nuances that go into being new parents. This is when being a teacher, and having time off during the summer pays it's dividends. Living outside the box.
Living outside the box. Friday, May 17, 2013. My 20 week ultrasound went great on Tuesday. We've got a healthy looking little one in there! I had the tech write the gender down and put it in an envelope then hurried home to call K and H on Skype. We were all so surprised and excited to find out they are having a sweet baby girl! We all thought she was a boy, Dane was the only one to say girl, because I was so sick. I guess girls really do make me sick ;). Friday, April 26, 2013. I am not sick anymore!

Living Outside the Box. Saturday, 11 January 2014. Today Small chose two of the pages I had printed out and (in a huge leap forward for a little boy who has had little interest and some difficulty with using a pen) he wrote the answers himself. In case you were wondering, yes unschoolers can use workbooks! The essence of unschooling is the flexibility to provide a range of resources and follow your child's lead, so if they find worksheets interesting then get printing. Friday, 10 January 2014. Living Outside the Jar. Culinary Adventures of a New Mother. Who Wouldn’t Like That? July 1, 2011 by Brita. I had a brainstorm that has had a pretty high success rate so far! I started thinking about all those yummy, not quite so healthy products. The ones that appeal to kids and carry over into adulthood. I decided to break down a few and make baby versions of them. The inspirations were: Broccoli, Cheddar and Ham LeanPockets, Milkshakes, Fruit Snacks and Chicken Nuggets with Fries. You mean that one?

Living Outside Time
Saturday, July 20, 2013. Friday, August 24, 2012. Does language imprison thought? If it is accepted that there is no thought outside language, it nevertheless seems that language is inadequate for thought. But to know this, to sense this, that language is inadequate for thought raises the question: how do we know that language is inadequate for thought if that knowing is not in-itself a kind of thinking? And we can readily ask the question, what do we mean by thought? The thought that while it remains ou...
