Friday, October 31, 2014. The most colorful show on Earth. As the leaves along the Cedar River in Washington state turn from green to yellow, gold, orange, and red, people walking along the rivers banks may not notice theres an equally colorful display just under the waters surface. Photographing wildlife can be incredibly rewarding, but it’s also extremely challenging. Even if you’re lucky enough to find the animal you’re looking for, it may not be in the mood to pose for you. The challenging times are certainly frustrating, but they make you appreciate a stunning wildlife image all the more. Get over your lens envy. There’s al...

Last update: 15-1 2011. I gotta get out of this place. I can hear the monster roar. Gotta get back to the sand. See them tumbling down. Pledging their love to the ground. Lonely but free I'll be found. With a tumbling tumbleweed. Saguaro and Tumbleweed Studios. Home of the Wadel. A tumbleweed is caught in the arms of a Saguaro cactus. Somewhere in Arizona, not too far from the Home of the Wadel. Photo: courtesy www.livingwilderness.com. Thanks a lot, Kevin! A Selection of Major. And a Roland Space Echo.

Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Flowers don't last forever. This week, I said goodbye to Buttercup Meadow. Most of the time, the name sounds prettier than the actual meadow is, but for a few weeks a year, it is a truly glorious place. Or at least it was. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
