Car troubles, chapter 4. Chapter 4 is a completely arbitrary designation for this episode. 1) I could ease on the gas pedal and it would accelerate easily. Prior to its transmission work, the gas pedal would not go down easily, and when it did finally give under the weight of my foot, the car would inevitably jump. 2) Following its stay at Lyle's, Boat shifted gears a lot more obviously and easily. I hate this vacation. Posted by matthew john. Then Kourtney came down. =]. Best part of the night, by far:.

I'm looking at this blog and kind of wanting to do a major design overhaul. And I mean everything. I am currently in the middle of the following books, all which need to be finished by the end of this break:. Small Group Leaders' Handbooks. The Big Book on Small Groups. Daring to Draw Near. And yet I haven't been nearly as diligent as I need to be. Oh well. Maybe I will eventually log off the facebook. Hopefully. Posted by matthew john. Mein Herz schreit auf. Erlöst. Was tue ich? And what's-his-face and CT from Paris. but it's been a while. Every so often though, I am pleasantly surprised. Maybe not necessarily pleasantly, but surprised by a sudden burst of intelligence or genuineness. (The former more than the latter) For example, in this season I'll see it more with the older members like Ruthie, or maybe even Paula or Evan now. There's this girl Shauvan and she reminds me of my high school too much for me to feel comfortable. It's scary. Wow, why am I still writing this?

semiotics of stability: Monday
http://semioticsofstability.blogspot.com/2009/04/monday.html
After a particularly unproductive Monday, I'm actually enjoying myself now laying on the couch and watching "The Closer". Kyra Sedgwick never fails to disappoint and I am never not compelled by the storyline. It's like a good Agatha Christie that runs under an hour- like Poirot, Sedgwick's character has her own strange and ceaselessly entertaining idiosyncrasies combined with convoluted and unsettling storylines. It's great. Posted by matthew john. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Spring Break is here!

Before i even got my car, the back driver's side window didn't go down. As I drove the car more and more, the back passenger side window started to stick and eventually began refusing to go back up after it was rolled down. Approximately 2 weeks ago, Mia (Michelle's car) decided she didn't want to roll up her rear passenger side window. Coincidentally, a day after I drove her. A dying hard drive. 2 weeks ago, Charlotte (Michelle's Mac) suffered a hard drive death. Have I passed it on to Michelle? Today, ...

Mary is home. Finally. Although I only briefly emerged from my couch-niche to open the door for her, I'm already feeling like this day is going to be a lot better. So I set out to read three books this vacation, and I'll let you know my progress:. 1 Mere Christianity -. Still on the first page. 2 Evangelicals on the Canterbury Trail -. Haven't progressed from the chapter and a half I read on Friday night. I will finish it. I promise. Just an update on things going on in the Tuttle house:. Ok, time to mov...

semiotics of stability: Running out of an Episcopal Church. No joke.
http://semioticsofstability.blogspot.com/2009/05/running-out-of-episcopal-church-no-joke.html
Running out of an Episcopal Church. No joke. It's Pentecost, btw, which made me feel weird, because as long as I can remember I attended my church on Pentecost. We deck the church out in red balloons and everyone wears red and it's great. I sat during the service through the Scripture readings until the sermon. Maybe I'm spoiled by Fr. Matt. actually, I am. Posted by matthew john. Reverend Matt seemed way caffeinated today - you should've seen him flail around - but the sermon was good, of course, so at ...
