Liz in the Mist
Liz in the Mist. Surrounded by the droplets of God's love. Sunday, January 19, 2014. I was thinking the other day about basements. Basements can be places where fun or frolic happens. My Grandpa and Grandma Wine had one of these types of basements. I fondly remember many hours spent playing in the basement with my siblings and cousins. It was a place where we could be ourselves. One day, my brother stepped on a nail while we were down there. Basements can be places of safety, especially here in Kansas.

Lizintheshed's Blog | Shed working and painting
Shed working and painting. Kestrel step by step. December 28, 2016. The lead up to Christmas was hectic, so sorry this blog has been so quiet. I was lucky enough to have loads of commissions including one for a kestrel. So I thought a step-by-step might be in order. The further wing was simpler and more blurred...

A traveler without observation is a bird without wings." — Moslih Eddin Saadi. Saturday, April 19, 2008. Ramblings on National Identity and the like. Life @ Number 27
Life @ Number 27. Sharing bits and pieces of life. Wednesday, 8 July 2015. It's been an age. I rarely feel like writing of late. Not that life has reached a standstill or is particularly calm, far from it to be honest. It is just too much to shift through the days and put it out there. The first academic year is nearly over for me. Doing rewrites, updating a portfolio and going on some trips for the course. Hard to fathom that I have reached this stage and very, very happy. No alcohol for five months exc...
