Lizzardie Knits: March 2007

Saturday, March 31, 2007. Another pair of socks for me! This knitting socks on the T thing is sure paying off. Cherry Tree Hill Supersock, Peacock, 1 skein. US 15 (US 0 for the cuffs). These ones I love. The yarn is nice and squishy and soft, the colors are dark but there's no pooling, the pattern is interesting but not terribly complicated. I had read somewhere (probably the Knitty Coffeeshop. The dark socks make wardrobing matching really easy. Posted by Lizzardie @ 10:53:00 AM. Saturday, March 10, 2007.

Lizzardie Knits: July 2007
http://lizzardieknits.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Getting back on track. I've been a bit negligent lately (just the past couple of weeks, I guess). There are two reasons for this: a ton of work (which means less knitting, blogging and photo time) and Ravelry. My invite came last Friday. So I've been busy putting my stash and my projects in there - and I'm still nowhere near done! My absence has led to a slew of FOs, though (okay, maybe not a slew, but there will be several that I'll be posting about this week and next). And I...

Lizzardie Knits: February 2007
http://lizzardieknits.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 24, 2007. I finally started and finished a pair of socks for me:. Knit Picks Essential, Burgundy, 2 skeins. US 15 (US 0 for the cuffs). Plus, most of the knitting was done on the T going to and from work, so it was a good use of my time. Here's a close up of the lace pattern:. Posted by Lizzardie @ 10:30:00 AM. Monday, February 19, 2007. My knitting only brought in $35, but hey, that's something, right? I'm now itching to make my own mittens in lots of pretty colors. :-). I've been try...

Thursday, May 31, 2007. I've mentioned my addiction to Sunshine Yarns. Once or twice, yes? Sunshine Yarns Superwash Wool Soft, Violets, 1 skein. US 15 (US 0 for the cuffs). I decided to use Sensational Knitted Socks. Here's a close up of the stitch pattern, gusset and eye of partridge heel:. I know I should probably throw a little bit of abuse at them, but I kinda don't want to. :-P I have a ton of left over yarn, so maybe I'll make a few swatches that can be tested. We'll see. Wednesday, June 27, 2007. My New Yarn Came! I have been spending most of my time lately working on the "Large Rectangle with Center Diamond Pattern" shawl from Victorian Lace Today. Is it just me, or do the shawls in that book need better names? Came and I can share those pictures! Lane Borgosesia Cashwool in White for Mystery Stole 3 (off of the ballwinder at this point). From left to right: Apple Laine in Vanilla, Claudia Hand Painted Yarns Fingering in Peppermint Mocha, Louet Gems Fingering in Burgundy.
