Tuesday, May 20, 2014. By gum, we DO live on an island! We decided that we really needed to fix this. We found out that many of the resorts would sell a day pass so that you could use their beach, pool, etc. We found one that wasn't terribly expensive (600 pesos each (about $13) and decided to give it a try. Russ had to work and so it was just the kids and me. We agreed as we left that we weren't sure how this day would pan out but we were just going to roll with whatever came. Our first view of the beach.

Monday, August 4, 2014. So, I realize I haven't posted for awhile. I have a pretty good excuse. This kind of set me back. Firstly there were the initial weeks of serious pain. I wasn't up for much those weeks. Then when I started to get better, I was still kind of down. It was hard to fight homesickness when I didn't feel well. I'm glad to be getting back on my feet now. I'll try to do better at keeping up my blog now. Holy Smokes, Batman! You sure know how to have good excuses! We love you and miss you!

Thursday, August 12, 2010. While we had everyone together in August (yay! We decided to get some family pictures taken. Luckily my nephew Gordon and his wife Coren were in SV. They are VERY good with the camera and agreed to take some photos for us. Here are a few . . . All the kids together for the first time in a couple of years. (plus the addition of a sweet little grandson on the left! Now Michael's happy because he got away! Here's the girls' picture. I'll post more of our pictures later.
