My sister wrote a lovely obituary, which combined statements from several sources and included exerpts from many of Daniel's writings. Monday, June 14, 2010. The boys' communication skills are improving every day. They are repeating our words often and incorporating them into their own vocabulary, sometimes surprising me with their memories. Sometimes a word I think is GIGO to them (garbage in - garbage out) pops up a few days or a week or two later, said in appropriate context. It's truly amazing! I don't understand a great deal of it and a lot of it seems to be gibberish, but there are some words I have recognized time and again. I've been slowly learning their language. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Raspy like an 80 year old smoker. With these prescriptions comes paranoia. Everything I have googled on the internet says not to take Preva.cid while breastfeeding. My OB wasn't available, but I called my ped's office, and they have said that both meds prescribed are fine for breastfeeding. In fact, they prescribe Prev.acid for infants with reflux sometimes. Tina Ty Ryder and the Twins. Thursday, September 4, 2008. September 4, 2008. Week 33 and counting down. At today's doctors appointment we got to see the twins on ultrasound, they were measured etc. Baby A is weighing 4.7 pounds and Baby B is weighing 4.3 pounds. My doctor is still pretty optimistic that I can make it to 36 or 37 weeks before I have these guys. I am feeling pretty good about that too. My blood work all came back healthy so no threat of toxemia right now. I'm so excited for you!

Friday, March 4, 2011. I might be accused of favoritism! It's Wayne's Birthday tomorrow so I made him a cake. I'm usually known for my cakes and I'm guessing that this one will be the same but for different reasons! The cake tin I used didn't have the effect I was hoping for and I let the girls decorate it. I'm beginning to think that giant cupcake mould wasn't such a bargain! Also 6 year olds tend to eat more icing than they put on the cake - who would have guessed that! I think he will be surprised!

Monday, 5 December 2011. These peppers are very tasty and full of vegetables. I serve them with a little bit of home made pesto and a couple of shavings of parmesan but these could be left out if you wanted to be super healthy or on a bit of a dairy free diet. For the peppers- I serve one pepper per person but Mr B can eat about 3 in one sitting. The recipe here is for four full peppers. 1) 4 large peppers, halved and de seeded. Use red, yellow or orange peppers. 2) 1 large courgette. 9) Handful of basil.
