Please be aware that our rules on taking salmon have changed. The first salmon caught must be returned. The second Salmon may be kept. The third Salmon must be returned. A fourth or subsequent Salmon may be kept. There is a limit of 2 Salmon per angler per season that may be kept. The reason for the rule is to try and improve the spawning rate of the river and hopefully prevent a move to compulsory catch and release. The rule does not apply to sea-trout.
