Yancey Family: October 2007
http://yanceyfamilyof5.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 25, 2007. Here is a Logo I designed Yesterday for our CHD support group. We are currently in the process of submitting ideas of logosfor the group to vote on. I came up with this idea, thinking of how all children with heart defects get wounded in their battle against their Congenital Heart Defect, some more than others. The risks they encounter in thier battle are always life threatening. Some have lost their battle physically, but have won it spiritually. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning to dance in the rain
http://cjcac.blogspot.com/2011/01/so-cadee-was-up-crying-during-night.html
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. it's about learning to dance in the rain. Thursday, January 20, 2011. So, Cadee was up crying during the night about her ear. Poor baby. I put some warm olive oil in it and got her back to sleep. I took her to the doc today and she's got a wicked ear infection in her left ear. I went to the doctor today too, and got some meeds for sinus infection. So, hopefully we will be on the mend! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Some of my favorite people!

February | 2011 | Honing My Life
https://honingmylife.wordpress.com/2011/02
One day at a time. February 28, 2011. This past week we took a school vacation. We were all ready for a break, and since I decide our school schedule we can take breaks, just because. So we did. It was great! On Monday, Rocketman was off of work because of President’s Day. THEN the next morning, I was taking my clean dishes out of the dishwasher and realized there was a mess. Mitts (my 4-year-old) is in charge of loading and starting the dishwasher. Paper plates make a mess in a dishwasher! Speaking of w...

I know I haven… | Honing My Life

One day at a time. I know I haven…. December 9, 2011. Most people did not actively resist the Germans though. There were many people that resisted passively. Some ways that they did this were: work slowly or badly, strikes, espionage countering Nazi propaganda, preparing for freedom, helping to hide soldiers from Germans, and listening to BBC for coded messages. With all these problems, the Germans just couldn’t eliminate every one. Posted in my life. One Response to “I know I haven…”. Wow, nice work!

One day at a time. Just for you, Mom! January 30, 2010. I was talking to my mother on the phone and she told me I haven’t posted enough pictures of my baby girl. So Monday evening Sweety helped me, she held the backdrop, and we took these pictures. Little Peanut is now 4 months old. She smiles and rolls and even giggles occasionally. Our very own cave formations. January 20, 2010. Top view of the saucer. It was really cool to see the shapes of the salt crystals. Posted in my life.

June | 2010 | Honing My Life
https://honingmylife.wordpress.com/2010/06
One day at a time. June 30, 2010. Today’s thought is about food at church, more specifically during Sacrament Meeting. But first my disclaimer: This is just my little view in life. Please do not get offended if you see things differently. Also I am not referring to any one in particular, so don’t think I’m writing this about you. I’m not! I’m writing about one of my pet peeves. Why must people bring so many snacks to church for their children? I’m now getting off my soap-box. It’s a Wonderful Life.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning to dance in the rain: April 2010

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. it's about learning to dance in the rain. Friday, April 30, 2010. Today was J's DARE graduation. It was awesome! J was one of 4 essay winners (2 from each class). He got to read his essay aloud at the program. He's pretty shy, so he read a bit fast and quiet, but it was awesome! He's a good little writer! Links to this post. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. And I told her I would do it. She said, "Thanks, I'm going to get in my bed! What a funny little girl! The co...

Week 20 weekly update | Honing My Life
https://honingmylife.wordpress.com/2011/02/15/week-20-weekly-update
One day at a time. Week 20 weekly update. February 15, 2011. This week in school we were talking about the Crimean War and Florence Nightingale. So for the fun activities this week we did charades. Tators choose to do his on first aid. I forgot to get pictures of those ones. Sharkbite chose the same activity so we acted out things we could do to help people who are sick or laid up for whatever reason. So enjoy the pictures. This slideshow requires JavaScript. Sweety choose to read the poem. You are comme...
