How could a stay in Pattaya be only a matter of sea and beach when there are so many boys running around admiring your looks and your wallet? Row in Pattaya. I was alone in everyone of these bars, which is not a nice situation when you do not like what you see. About thai boys (and their neighbours). Bangkok is always my home port when I stay in Thailand, thanks especially to my hotel which accepts to keep my (excessive) luggage when I tour the provinces. But the Big Mango is also an attraction in itself where I like to relax and visit. Thais don’t think about sex in terms of sexuality, or labels. In fact, there is no word in the Thai vocabulary for gay or bisexual. The releasing of animals originates from the tradition of rice farmers gathering up fish and other aquatic animals that have been trapped in the rice fields when the flood waters recede. Some are taken for food and the rest are released into the safety of a nearby canal or river. The rescuing of these animals is an act of kindness and thus the farmers are making merit.
