Pete and Colleen's site for their house in Italy. Casa Cimaglia (pronounced Chi-ma-lia) is a rustic Italian house nestled within a sleepy borgo. On one side of the house is a pretty little courtyard, whilst on the other side, a terrace provides pleasant views towards the hill town of Gualdo. Pete and Colleen's site for their house in Italy. We finally signed the contract on Casa Cimaglia on 7 May 2009 after waiting for two years while the legal formalities about land ownership were sorted out. The previous owners had allowed us to use the house in the interim but we weren’t allowed to make any alterations. So the last twelve months have seen massive changes to the state of the house as we’ve tried to catch up with repairs and redecoration tasks. So keep coming back to watch the changes.
