The survey of Lodi Township was started in 1815, but due to the difficult conditions some lines had to be re-run. The survey was thus completed in April 1819 by Joseph Wampler*. The (Natural) History of Centennial Lane. December 17, 2017. The lay of the land. Is located nearly in the center of Washtenaw County, Michigan, west of the city of Ann Arbor. It is designated by the federal Public Land Survey System. As Township 5 South, Range 3 East (T5S, R3E). The township was established in 1834, three years prior to Michigan's statehood. Each section is further sudivided into quarter-sections, and once again in quarters. December 16, 2017. Done in the early to mid-19th century.
