Leaving a Legacy of Faith. September 9, 2006. A Change of Pace. Posted by dyearsin under Uncategorized. When I began this blog, my goal was to share my life experiences as a demonstration of the power of my Awesome God. He has brought me through so many things. The list is indeed endless. This post, however, is a heartfelt cry for your prayers for me and my family. We are facing some hard things and we need help from our God. Thanks from the bottom of my heart…. Leaving a Legacy of Faith. September 12, 2006. Posted by dyearsin under Uncategorized. Every year on September 15th, I celebrate the day that a new addition was made to the heavenly choir and reflect on what might have been. One of these women is my step-daughter Martha. Martha is a wonderful mom. I am delighted at the way she is raising two very independent young ladies of her own. (Abby and Amelia are the joy of their granny’s heart! These, too, are things that I would have wanted for her. When I began...

Leaving a Legacy of Faith. July 11, 2006. Posted by dyearsin under Uncategorized. As the saying goes, when life hands you lemons make lemonade! How often do we try to find the good in the heart-aches of our lives? The circumstances that brought me to Tecumseh were anything but pleasant. But God in His infinite wisdom and compassion, turned my hurt into a wonderful life. A home where kids can literaly turn lemons into lemande along with bringing smiles to the faces of others. Friday, September 29, 2006. Hans Christian Andersen said: "Every person' s life is a fairy tale written by God's fingers.". Hans was a Danish poet who lived from 1805-1875. While we know him for several fairy tales he wrote, "Thumbelina", "The Ugly Duckling", "The Little Mermaid", "The Emperor's New Clothes", "The Princess and the Pea", "The Steadfast Tin Soldier", and "The Red Shoes", to name a few; he also wrote many poems and novels. I thought this was some fun trivia to share with you this Friday.

So I took the kids to the zoo yesterday and when we were walking through looking at the Gorillas I said to Katie "Look at that big Daddy gorilla" so she so politely exlaims "Ya that looks like my daddy! Very loudly I might add. So according to Katie I'm married to a big gorilla with a nice rack! Posted by Best of 1980 @ 1:06 PM. Monday, March 27, 2006. Posted by Best of 1980 @ 9:45 AM. Wednesday, October 18, 2006. One Night With The King. I saw an awesome movie today the title above, this movie was inspirational to women (and men). It was the story of Queen Esther. It was an awesome story of how with awesome faith we can make history. My favorite line in this movie was. Maybe the question to ask is not why we go through trials, but what are our trails asking of us". So spread the news, this was a great movie and sadly I don't think it's being advertised to much. Be blessed!

Monday, October 30, 2006. Does Anyone Know Where I Find. I need some help, please! I found several passages that mention "Sheol". When I looked up the definition of the word, it is an ancient Hebrew word for "the place of the dead". It is found under the earth. Are there any passages which directly speak about what happens when someone in the Old Testament died? I am praying God will use Steve's daughter to reach him for Christ. Only God knows what the catalyst will be for Steve to cross the line of ...

Doug E. Pudge. Wednesday, October 26, 2005. So let me bottom line all this mixed up thought today. God is absolute truth! God will lead a willing heart wherever HE wants them to go! We as humans will allow ourselves to get in the way from time to time which can and has put great strains on relationships! I need to love as unconditionally as I can regardless of how others interpret the leading of God's Spirit, and it doesn't matter who is right as long as we are all open! Be blessed beyond belief today.

Doug E. Pudge. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. You know, I was thinking. Have you ever been traveling down the road of life and hit a pothole? You know how it is, you've got the cruise control set, you're jammin' to some tunes, when all of a sudden.BAM! God has a way of getting and keeping my attention. One of my favourite things to do when I want to update the look of a room but can’t do anything drastic (hello, rental) is hang new prints on the wall. It’s a cheap and easy way to freshen up a space and makes a house feel much more like a home. Plus you can switch up the images whenever you like / change your mind (which I am guilty of doing a lot! I created these prints with images from Pinterest (except for the. One which I designed myself as a little little reminder of our honeymoon in Hawaii). But s...
