Shevvy, quilting in London: Dear Angela
http://shevvylondon.blogspot.com/2015/05/dear-angela.html
Shevvy, quilting in London. Obsessed with patchwork and quilting. Sunday, 31 May 2015. I hear you are interested in quilting so I thought I would put a bit of info together for you along with the bits I sent you. All of the patchwork and quilting parts can be done by hand or with a sewing machine and you will in time find what you prefer. Starting by hand gives you some time to explore designs and fabric without investing in a machine. I prefer cutting using a self healing mat, a rotary cutter and a rule...

http://poppymakes.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Monday, 25 November 2013. A quick wee swap. Last week the lovely Krista from Poppy Print. Put out a call on Instagram for a couple of people in the UK to help out with a needle case swap between the London Modern Quilt Guild. And the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild. And I jumped at the chance! I love swaps and it's been ages since I did one :). On Saturday afternoon they came to work with me and turned into a little hexie panel. On Sunday they were hand quilted. And today they became a little needle book.

http://colettemoscrop.blogspot.com/2015/05/me-made-may-part-two.html
Wednesday, 13 May 2015. Me Made May - part two. I've been wearing something that I have made each day throughout May, as part of Me-Made-May. This is a what I've been wearing so far. Day 5 is the boatneck top from Gertie Sews Vintage Casual. A very quick make and easy to wear everyday top, I always get lovely comments when I wear it. Day 6 is my live-in-it denim A-line denim skirt and a Liberty print infinity scarf. Day 7 is an A-line corduroy skirt with a Liberty print trim and a teal silk neck tie.

Tuesday, 5 May 2015. Me Made May 2015. This May I'm taking part in the Me Made May challenge hosted by Zoe. Which is to actually wear the items of clothing and accessories you have made. I know many of the items I make lurk in the wardrobe, this is most likely because I'm saving them for best, which ties in with my last post. So I'll be wearing these items as part of my 'everyday best' challenge to myself too. I'm documenting this challenge every few days on Instagram. 5 May 2015 at 21:36. Sew Mama Sew W...

Now like a muppet I didn't take many photos and still haven't sorted out my goodies or anything. Thankfully others are a lot more organised than I am and if you check out the linky party. You will be able to read a lot more about it. I had an absolutely wonderful time over the whole weekend. I did two different classes with Jen Kingwell.
