As somebody who eats a vegan diet, I have seen the question asked, Dont plants have feelings too? Typically the response from vegans is Dont be ridiculous. Of course they dont. Strenuous. Although this trail called the Lake Hardy trail, it is not the primary trail used to access Lake Hardy. Most people access Lake Hardy via Dry Creek canyon or Schoolhouse Springs. Read above for info on these routes. From Second Hamongog, the trail continues the final 2 mi. portion to Lake Hardy.

Timpanogos and the last weekend before the new school semester begins. I often remark at the differnece of visitation between Lone Peak Wilderness and Mt. Timpanogos Wilderness. Why the remarkable difference? Is it the age old tradition of hiking Timp? Is it the natural beauty of Timpanogos? The Wilderness Act of 1964.
