As many of you may know (or may have guessed by now), I am a big fan of Japanese art. Two of my latest finds in this area are Misaki Kawai. Both women are incredibly unique artists, but totally different. Currently, Aoshima (of Kaikai KiKi. Fame) is taking part in a Japan Society. Ein teller bunte knete. Mittwoch, 31. Oktober 2007. Picastro hatte ich schon einmal auf dem Zettel. Das war 2003, als die Band ihr Debüt „Red Your Blues“ auf den Markt brachte und von überall her die Cat Power- Referenzen nur so auf sie hernieder fielen. Konnte mich damals irgendwie nicht überzeugen, zu verhuscht, ja, teilweise kraftlos klang mir, was ich hörte.
