Looking Through the Turn. November 28, 2008. From the windows of our airplane, I can see the Mediterranean glistening in the morning sun. Another sparkling day in one of my favorite European cities. Today, people will walk the La Rambla, shop in the Mercat, eat paella, marvel at Gaudi’s architecture and indulge in some incredible Rioja wine. But they will be doing it without us. The truth is, I don’t really care. Just as long as another ride awaits. La Cite: French Fortress. October 24, 2008. Since today...

Looking Through the Turn. Costa Brava: The magnificant Mediterranean. November 28, 2008. Too soon we have to leave this haven, and our ride from here descends out of the mountains through busy towns and on bigger roads. The promise of the coast awaits and everyone is eager to see the famous Costa Brava. From here, the coastline ride begins. The Costa Brava stretches from the border of France and Spain south about 125 miles to the port of Blanes. Costa Brava means wild coast, and by the looks of t...Tonig...

looking through the shutter...
Looking through the shutter. Tuesday, November 6, 2012. The media calls it the "Race that stops a Nation". I knew it was popular but really had no idea what to expect things to be like in the city. Last year I was off of work and watched the race from Hogs Breath Cafe with David and his parents. We saw a few people dressed up but nothing like I saw in the CBD today! Two of the girls on my team, Leanne and Brie, off to party with a supplier. Links to this post. Saturday, November 3, 2012. We took photos w...

New Writing: A Memoir of a Life and a Career in the Sixties and Seventies. SUM IT UP FOR ME: WHAT IS THIS BOOK ABOUT, ANYWAY? May 18, 2013 · 4:57 pm. Chapter 68 – Frances end. But there are several younger ones. I’ve been giving comfort and love and ideas for escape to a five-year-old, a four-year-old (I think twins, a boy and a girl), and a two. My heart is shattered. And after that there were only sisters, for years. I just hadn’t done the math, or remembered the age gap. May 15, 2013 · 11:55 pm. It’s ...

On My Father's Wings
On My Father's Wings. Hiya, I'm Kayley. Ever since I was a child I've wanted to be a knight, just like Father. To go on grand adventures, daring sword fights, rescue a damsel. Though, I still don't know what a damsel is. To go to Camelot and join by Father's side. When he died I felt my hopes of becoming a knight were shattered. Somehow, I got to experience everything. A grand adventure, dangerous monsters, and glory! I helped save the kingdom from a rogue knight named Ruber! I know Father must be proud.
