108 Big Waters Lane. Was built almost 50 years ago on virgin land newly released by the Crown. In those days, Big Waters Lane was just a dirt road with no official name. The cottage can sleep up to eight adults, but it's most comfortable for three to five people. This is where you'll spend most of your time, eating meals, reading, listening to the radio or just chatting while you watch the birds, the sky and the lake. There's a new picnic table and a gas BBQ in a secluded private grove next to the cottage.

Lookout Lodge was built in the 1960s by Canadian author Hugh Hood. OC (1929-2000) and his wife, visual artist Noreen Mallory. They spent about three months of every year at the cottage, with their four children, and it inspired numerous creative works by the couple, including this image of a flying heron by Mallory.
