Loom Knitting Loomatics: LK506. Chain Bind Off (Knit Method)

http://loomknitting.sophiaburns.com/2012/05/chain-bind-off-knit-method.html

Site for and by Loom Knitters! LK506 Chain Bind Off (Knit Method). This chain bind off method is the same as binding off using a crochet hook, which is covered in another tutorial. Use the one you're more comfortable with. they are just two different ways to get the same result. Step 1: Wrap and knit off pegs 1 and 2. Step 2: Move the loop on peg 2 to peg 1. Step 3: Knit off peg 1 (bring the bottom loop over the top loop). Step 4: Move the remaining loop back to the empty peg. This peg is now peg 1.

Loom Knitting Loomatics: LK302. The Purl Stitch

http://loomknitting.sophiaburns.com/2012/05/purl-stitch.html

Site for and by Loom Knitters! LK302 The Purl Stitch. The second-most common stitch in the knitting world is the purl stitch, which is sort of the opposite of a knit. Once you know how to knit and purl, you can make all sorts of patterns by combining the two stitches. Lay the yarn loosely underneath the loop that is on the peg. Insert the hook under that loop, and scoop up the working yarn, thus creating a new loop. Take the existing loop off of the peg, and replace it with the loop that is pulled through.

Loom Knitting Loomatics: LP202. Dailey Mittens

http://loomknitting.sophiaburns.com/2012/05/dailey-mittens.html

Site for and by Loom Knitters! I found this pattern on the Internet, designed by Bethany Dailey. They are extremely easy to knit, and look great! What I appreciate especially that they are knit in one piece, and in the end there are only a few seams to sew. Ms Dailey has created two versions of this pattern, child size and adult size, below are the instructions for adults. Here is the link to the original pattern in PDF format. And below the accompanying video. Tuesday, June 05, 2012. Designs, you can se...

Welcome to LoomKnittingDesigns.com. Loomknittingdesigns.com is the personal project of Lisa Sawyer where she's developing patterns for loom knitting. Lisa has been a passionate hand knitter for eight years and after learning how to loom knit on the Knifty Knitter looms, she quickly realized there was a lack of patterns available that she was interested in making. After hearing similar observations from her students, she decided to offer her. Lisa now has a blog.
