Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Fishing with the boys. Started the day off at 4:00 IN THE MORNING! I was actually surprised at how fast I got up and out of bed. that NEVER happens! Let's just say I love my sleepy time! We picked Mark up and headed down to Newport Harbor. We were the first ones in line to get on the boat. Loren and Mark both got their poles out and started casting off the dock. Loren was casting and got his fishing wire all tangled up so. Mark had to help him untangle it! It was a long boat ride!

Thursday, December 2, 2010. Grow where you're planted. Grow where you're planted". This truly feels challenging. Ezra naps about 4 times a day for about 30 minutes each time. This isn't really enough time do much. Most of these brief 'breaks' are spent on laundry, cooking ,cleaning, and any prep for work I have. After much contemplating, Loren finally decided to do something he’s never done before get something called a girlfriend. Luckily, Karen took the chance on him, and Loren didn't have to taste rejection. During one of their trips to Paris, Loren decided to take that next big step of expressing his desire to spend the rest of his life with Karen.
