OFF THE CHAIN TRAVEL. Tuesday, April 21, 2009. I really have a special place in my heart for Chile- it's my favorite place to travel so far and I have so much more of it to explore. My husband is from there so this works out well :) There are so many things to say and recos. For Chile so instead of making this a narrative I am just going to list places to go by region. I have a few blogger friends that are from the US and living in Chile so hopefully I'll get a lot of comments with additional recos.

Fave Food in Chile. My Fave Restaurants in Chile. The idea of this page is to document all of my favorite restaurants in Chile in case anyone needs recommendations of good places to go eat. Most of these restaurants are in Santiago since I lived here for over 3 years, but I have included some from other parts of the country as well in case you happen to be travelling! Vegetarian and delicious; I love the "Nuevo México" plate, hummus appetizer, guacamole appetizer, fresh squeezed juices and the sangria.
