Fruit and veg haul. This week, there’s asparagus, broccoli, courgette, tomatoes, chanterelles, fennel, lettuce, red peppers, potatoes, spring onions, figs, gooseberries, raspberries, redcurrants, eggs… and I’m most likely forgetting something. This week I’m especially excited about gooseberries. They don’t seem to be very popular but I absolutely adore them. Their taste takes me back to the garden we used to have when I was a child.
