Adjoining to the castle an English garden with rare trees and shrubs, which was preserved in parts till this day, was put on. In 1856 the castle was renovated by Majoratsbesitzer August Freiherr von Tschammer und Quaritz. In the immediate vicinity of the castle a mausoleum for the family of Tschammer was created. Mittwoch, 11. Februar 2009. Neudorf - eine Erinnerung. Neudorf bei Ottynia (Kreis Tlumatsch) war das Heimatdorf meiner Vorfahren in Galizien. Im Jahre 1842 gegründet, verschwand es schon etwas über 100 Jahre später wieder von der Landkarte. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde die Gegend nordwestlich von Kolomyja – dort lag Neudorf – zum Truppenübungsplatz. Das Dorf wurde nach und nach dem Erdboden gleichgemacht; heute erinnert so gut wie nichts mehr daran. Mit dem alten Ortsplan, einem Kompass und Herrn Schmidl als ortskundigem Führer haben wir schließlich das Stück Land gefunden, auf dem einmal Neudorf stand. Hier stehen mein Vater und ich auf dem ehemaligen Hof meiner Großeltern Heinrich und Karoline Adam, geb. Schmalenberg. Sicher wird es nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Meinen Großeltern war diese Ziegelei schon bekannt und seit dieser längst vergangenen Zeit ist eben diese hier scheinbar stehen geblieben. Samstag, 31. Juli 2010. Mikulsdorf - ehemaliger Deutscher Friedhof. Auf unserer Fahrt durch die alte Heimat haben wir einen Abstecher nach Mikulsdorf gemacht. Dort existieren noch ein paar Gräber auf dem ehemaligen Deutschen Friedhof und eine Gedenktafel, die an die ehemaligen Einwohner erinnert. Die Fotos sind aufgenommen am Samstag, 16. Mai 2009. Etwas unterhalb des alten Friedhofes liegt dieser idyllische See, an dem einige Kinder spielen. Diese Gedenktafel erinnert an die Toten aus deutscher Zeit:.

Sie stammt aus den 30er Jahren und die Flur- und Städtebezeichnungen sind polnisch - aus Neudorf wurde "Nova Wies":. Interessant ist die Überblendung der alten Karte mit einem aktuellen Luftbild (Google maps). Die letzten Überreste Neudorfs, z.B. die alte Dorfstraße, lassen sich so sehr gut einordnen:.
