Here's What You'll Need:. 1 cup white milk. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 tsp baking soda. 4 cups all purpose flour. 1 cream butter and sugar in a mixer and beat in the eggs. 2 dissolve the baking soda in the milk and then add to mixture. add the vanilla. 4 form the dough into a roll about a foot long and 2- 3 inches in diameter. roll in wax paper and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Here's What You'll Need:. 1 cup light corn syrup. 2 cups raw spanish peanuts. 2 tsp baking soda. 1 Heat and stir sugar and water in heavy 3 quart sauce pan until sugar dissolves. add salt. 2 Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (234 degrees) add peanuts at 250 degrees. 3 cook to hard crack stage (290 degrees) stirring often. 6 Let cook. break into pieces and store in air tight container.
