Sunday, August 16, 2015. I loved loved loved Florence. Quaint, clean, beautiful. We spent three nights in Firenze and would come back to spend more time in the Tuscany region. Our apartment was located about a 5 minute walk from Piazza Pitti, a vast palace which is now a museum as well as the Ponte Vecchio - "Old Bridge", a medieval stone arch bridge noted for its shops along it. TGV train - traveling 250 km/hour from Rome to Florence. Colorful doors on the walk to Forte Belvedere. His mom, dad and sister.

Monday, June 8, 2015. It was a glorious weekend, with our temperature hitting 30 degrees. The mountain lakes were calling so we loaded up Todd's grandpa's. Friday, July 31, 2015. We took over 2700 pictures so the next few blog entries will be divided up by the cities we visited. First up, Athens and Naples. Calgary airport waiting for our flight. Quick trip to the Acropolis, Athens, Greece during our 7 hour layover. Trying to cool down with a popsicle. Our hotel in Naples, Italy. Going to find some dinner. Sunday, February 1, 2015. Wild Boys Birthday Party. Liam's 'friend' birthday party was yesterday. He wanted a karate theme so it was held at a dojo in town. I booked the party in December and when we showed up at the location, the doors were locked, the space was completely empty and there was a sign on the door from the landlord, saying that the business forfeited on their lease and owned $15,000.
