Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Had a mini style meeting today with my cru re: our production processes work. Here are our minutes. Date: 20th November 2005. Location: The sofas in the lab. Getting right in to the writing is the right thing. Started writing up the report. Around 9,000 words! Dont know how i'm gonna get it done. Im up to 2k at the mo. I'll get there! Sunday, May 28, 2006. The Prints of Wales. Check out our prints, we got them back and they are beautiful. Really really pleased with them. Spent yesterday finishing off the content for the tour. of which has turned out to be a fair bit. The infared beacons are working (minus one which has decided to die on us), we have the audio commentry sorted - which you can listen to here. And most of the content finished. Its all in hand. Entrepreneurial and Professional Practice. Monday, January 30, 2006. Today we started our new module 'Enterpreneurship and Professional Practice'. This module primarily involves guest speakers coming in and talking to us about their roles in new media and beyond. He currently works on a community based digital story telling project. Lectures around Wales, consults for the BBC and the Scarman Trust, works on a number of community projects and VJ`s at clubs and festivals around the UK. Click here to view:.

Entrepreneurial and Professional Practice. Monday, March 20, 2006. Gavin Johnson came in to see us today from the BBC. He is one of the technological team leaders at the bbc's new media dept. His presentation was on how the BBC deliver content via the web. He explained the procedure getting film content compressed and ready for streaming from the BBC website. 1) Capturing the film. 2) Transmit (if a live stream). 5 ) Encode (to a relevant web format). Thursday, June 22, 2006. Louise Evans BA (hons). The hard work paid off. The nights in staring at a computer screen, the freezing cold days down the bay interviewing, the pressure, the laughs, the trips to bristol, the money shelled out for all manner of electronic devices, books and printing. it all paid off. I am very very pleased to report that both steve and I will graduate with first class honour degrees! Its all gone a bit mad for us. I will keep up updated on how we are doing! The Prints of Wales.
