Monday, May 21, 2012. It's GOLF WEEK finally! Maxey and I went to the airport and picked up Jimmy and James (his Amarillo golfing friends) last night. They're here for A WEEK of golfing! They'll play AT LEAST 36 holes a day all week. What fun! Maxey is thrilled. He looks forward to this week every year. He's spent months planning the golf courses they'll play! They started their day before 6:00 this morning. Sunday, May 13, 2012. Laney's Little Animal Quilt. I quilted it myself with very high loft batting.

Saturday, November 10, 2012. Our grandson, James, got surprised with an early combined Christmas present from his other grandparents and his parents. It's a SUPER JEEP. Needless to say, you can see by the photos. I'm one happy kid! Driving is serious business.and I'm really good at it! Gotta check the oil. Get out of the way, Mammy. I'm going this way! Wednesday, August 29, 2012. My "First" Crocheted Necklace. The lady sitting next to Diane and me at the Anita Goodesign Embroidery Seminar last weekend had on a very interesting necklace. I heard her say that she had made it. Upon further questioning, I learned that it was crocheted with 20 gauge copper wire and miscellaneous beads. Then after a run to Michael's for more wire and another crochet hook, I made another one.one for each of us, of course! Sunday, August 26, 2012. Sunday, I got to go to church...

Tuesday, March 20, 2012. I just QUILTED my first quilt. I made it for my youngest grandson's 3rd birthday. He loves "The Three Little Pigs"! He has even named all the pigs. I bought the fabric panel that is meant to be made into a fabric book. However, I put borders around each individual page and added some sashing. ThenI CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT.I quilted it myself on my mid-arm machine. This was my first. The backing is little roads with construction machinery. I think he's going to love it. (I hope!

Sunday, March 17, 2013. Gail, Dawn and I took Terrance and James fishing Friday morning. We just went to one of the ponds here in Carrollton. James and Terrance had gotten fishing poles for Christmas, so we decided it was time to try them out. Gail brought all the tackle. James brought the snack.for himself. I was the helper. No one caught a fish, but Terrance caught a tree.oops. It happens to the best of us. We had a great time and will do it again real soon! March 18, 2013 at 3:39 PM.
