Confetti: ArtsAlive is starting up
http://cherishedmystery.blogspot.com/2013/12/artsalive-is-starting-up.html
Sunday, December 29, 2013. ArtsAlive is starting up. So, I mentioned before that I was hoping to start teaching some art classes this next semester. Well, after many, many (too many) hours brainstorming, planning, and putting together a website, I am excited to present to you. Where creativity comes to life. I swing back and forth between being super excited and confident to being terrified and certain that no-one will sign up. It's a big leap for me, and full of much vulnerability, but here we go. You'r...

Little Flock: Scenes from our nature walk
http://mock-n-bird.blogspot.com/2012/09/scenes-from-our-nature-walk.html
Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Scenes from our nature walk. We also found a blue. Mushroom. I had no idea mushrooms could be blue! Not only did we find some really nice trails to hike but we also found this. This has been down the road from us and we never knew it! By far, the best park in the area! And, because it is in the middle of nowhere, there is hardly anyone ever there. The children had a blast running around, climbing, sliding, and swinging. It was a great morning! Where did you move to?

Blessed Imperfection: Awkward can be worth it
http://blessedimperfection.blogspot.com/2011/03/awkward-can-be-worth-it.html
Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Awkward can be worth it. Devin spent all afternoon on Sunday making the walls of our house look beautiful. He was busy hammering, puttying, sanding, and painting until midnight. Because I'm the epitome of a perfect wife, instead of thanking him for all the hard work he did, I blamed him when the outlets quit working in the bathroom that day. "You must have screwed up the wires when you were hammering! I know, he's just SO lucky! I mean, who wouldn't want me for a wife right? I beg...

Blessed Imperfection: February 2011
http://blessedimperfection.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 21, 2011. I'm sorry I've been absent for so long. There are so many things I could blog about my now I just feel too overwhelmed and don't know where to start! I could blog about:. How I heard Addison reading aloud from the Bible about a witch that steals the sparkles from furry ponies. How I've developed a second chin from this pregnancy and my belly is starting to hang out of all my shirts (takes the idea of mooning to a whole new level). How ridiculously difficult it has been to make ...

Blessed Imperfection: January 2011
http://blessedimperfection.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I've been trying e-mealz for the past couple weeks. I've got to say I have really enjoyed it! There have been a few things that I just flat out refused to make because I knew we wouldn't like them, a few things that have been really good, and a few things that turned out to be just ok and I probably won't try again. The recipes are printed off for you along with a grocery list so you just print your list and go to the store. I had ingredients to make dinner! They didn't reall...

A Family of Foxes: So, I went into labor at school...
http://afamilyoffoxes.blogspot.com/2013/06/so-i-went-into-labor-at-school.html
Saturday, June 22, 2013. So, I went into labor at school. I rarely blog anymore, but I don't want to forget the details of my son's birth and this seems like a pretty good place to record the details. If you don't like birth stories, I'd stop reading, but it won't have too many extreme details. First, I'd like to introduce my son, Joel Alexander, born May 21st at 6:10 am He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19 inches of perfect baby goodness. Waiting to go up to labor and delivery. My doctor (and Joel's...

Lovely Morning: our wedding: DIY succulent centerpieces
http://alovelymorning.blogspot.com/2009/01/our-wedding-diy-succulent-centerpieces.html
Monday, January 12, 2009. Our wedding: DIY succulent centerpieces. Kay, I'm just going to jump into the week here with a long wedding post. Ready? These are easier than you think. I swear. But of course it means collecting a cohesive body of vessels. Growing big pots of succulents for months before you're ready to harvest, and then being willing to pretty much massacre them, PLUS go to the nursery to buy extras to fill in the spaces. But I think it's kind of worth it! Thanks to our super florist. Allow m...

A Family of Foxes: Thankful...
http://afamilyoffoxes.blogspot.com/2012/04/thankful.html
Sunday, April 15, 2012. There have been so many thoughts swimming in my head lately - things that I've wanted to write about, jot down, things to remember about what I'm feeling and learning. As I sit here and write this post, I am so thankful that my husband is working on our taxes. I've NEVER done my taxes. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I am thankful that he does such a good job taking care of me and our family. Is Christ my life? Is gratitude my lifestyle? I hear you on the medical bills part!

Little Flock: Simple Woman's Daybook 8/18
http://mock-n-bird.blogspot.com/2012/08/simple-womans-daybook-818.html
Saturday, August 18, 2012. Simple Woman's Daybook 8/18. The remains of our garden. We finally tore out all the dead plants. It's nice to have a fresh start! About photography. I haven't been taking many pictures lately and would really like to take more. For children who are willing and able to help with things like garden work. They are blessings. A spaghetti squash that I am trying to decide what to do with. Hmm. A yellow dress and my old, dingy headcovering. (Gardening isn't glamorous! Church tomorrow...
