Nora had a really rough week leading up to the Fourth, because days five through nine of her tonsillectomy recovery were more painful than any of us expected! Dustin, kate, nora, asher, and bennett. Sunday, May 17, 2015. Over the weekend, Dustin and Nora went camping with other dads and daughters who are in first grade with Nora. We were so happy they were able to go together this time, because the last two campouts Dustin hasn't been able to go (due to his surgery and a stomach bug). Dustin, kate, nora, asher, and bennett. Friday, June 26, 2015. Yesterday Nora had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. This was the first time for one of our children to go under general anesthesia and have surgery. So it was a big day for our family! The decision to remove her tonsils was made after Nora spent a rough couple of months battling chronic strep throat. Over the past two months, Nora has been through seven rounds of antibiotics in a row! Here is a shot of her taken at the pediatrician's office.

Dustin, kate, nora, asher, and bennett. Monday, July 27, 2015. Favorite Instagram pics from the past month. While Nora was recovering from her tonsillectomy, I took her to get a mani/pedi. She picked four different colors, with a sparkly topcoat, in a pattern, with hearts and flowers painted on top. Her fingers and toes looked like a herd of My Little Ponies exploded on them. These next five pics are from a little weekend trip to the ranch a couple of weeks ago. Nora has become a very confident rider!

Dustin, kate, nora, asher, and bennett. Monday, July 27, 2015. We just returned from a four-night trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma. We had a great time! Dustin and I were talking on the way home about the fact that this is really the first legit family vacation we have ever taken with just our little family!
