Saturday, October 18, 2014. Don't put it on Facebook. So, he didn't want his picture on facebook, but he's too cute to keep it away from grandparents. Jacob was so proud to help dig and work in the yard. Beth was happy to watch. Subscribe to: Post Comments ( Atom ). Thursday, May 22, 2014. While I had great intentions to start blogging again, reality is a different story. I realized that during the school year, I'm doing all I can to keep my head straight with school and all the extra activities. So, our summer has officially started. I'll try to recap our year as some pretty awesome life moments and adventures were part of our year. Stay tuned! Subscribe to: Post Comments ( Atom ). View my complete profile. Saturday, June 16, 2012. I found a little interview about dads (thanks Pinterest) and knew the kids would love answering the questions. Here's what they think of their dad. My dad is years old. My dad weighs pounds. My dad's favorite color is. My dad's favorite super hero is. My dad always says. B: "Go clean your room". My dad's job is. B: to take care of us. First thing in the morning, my dad. B: wakes me up. J: says "good morning". My dad laughs when I. B: say something weird. J: do funny things. All t...

Life's Greatest Adventures: August 2014
http://lifesgreatestadventures.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 8, 2014. As our summer comes to a close, I marvel at how time flies so much faster now than when I was young. The kids are older, which means more we can do and be involved in, and boy did we pack our summer! We made a list of about 30 things we wanted to do this summer. I know we didn't do all of them, maybe half. Still, I don't think there were any complaints of being bored. They enjoyed the story, and Beth saw similarities to Where the Red Fern Grows. I helped chaperone Pre-teen camp fo...

Life's Greatest Adventures: November 2013
http://lifesgreatestadventures.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 12, 2013. It's time to revive the ol' blog. I know grandparents love seeing pictures and videos of the kids. I enjoy looking back in archives and seeing the older pictures, wondering how time went by so fast. I won't promise lots of posts, but I do promise it won't be 3 months between posts. Scroll down to find a couple posts to get you started! A New School Year. Wow, our first year homeschooling came and went so fast. Despite the misconception, we had more than our share of "socializa...

Life's Greatest Adventures: May 2012
http://lifesgreatestadventures.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Ride, Jacob, Ride. Jacob is very much a physically active and adventurous little boy. We decided to take the training wheels off his bike, to see what he could do. He was pretty nervous to get on the bike. It took a little bit before he understood the difference in how it felt without the extra wheels. Once he was convinced that Kevin wouldn't let him go, he was ready to give it a try. Subscribe to: Posts ( Atom ). View my complete profile. Don't Mess With My Tutus! Blogging with ...

Life's Greatest Adventures: What's been happening?
http://lifesgreatestadventures.blogspot.com/2014/06/whats-been-happening.html
Sunday, June 15, 2014. While I've been away from blogging. Jacob turned 6. How did that happen? My sweet boy is more fun every year! He's quite a funny, smart, lovable boy. I'm thankful God gave him to us! We enjoyed an amazing family vacation! Disney for us is the only place we can go where we feel totally disconnected from the "real world". The kids are getting bigger and braver, riding new rides. Thankfully, they know which ones to let Mommy just watch. Beth turned 10. Ten! Jacob finished his fall soc...

Life's Greatest Adventures: August 2012
http://lifesgreatestadventures.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 3, 2012. We have enjoyed the 2012 Summer Olympics! We watched part of the opening ceremony, parts many sports, but mainly swimming, diving and gymnastics. We have talked about the athletes participating, their hard work and dedication, the history of the games. To make the olympic experience even more fun, I used some ideas (a little adjusted) I saw in a magazine to have our own backyard events. The kids were so excited! We all had a great time! Life's Greatest Adventures: September 2012
http://lifesgreatestadventures.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 17, 2012. School Time- Recapping the first few weeks. We've been in school here for 4 weeks. It's been amazing! Beth is in the 3rd grade, and Jacob started kindergarten. I realize I should have probably been emotional about that, but the difference is that I didn't send my baby off to school. This year, we decided to give homeschool a shot. There have been no complaints from the students, teacher or principal! Why in the world are we homeschooling? What makes me qualified? Refrigerating...
