The Cuda’s Travels and Thoughts. My views on cycling and quite possibly much much more. Vintage Bicycle Identification Wiki? I’ve had the thought of creating a website that helps the vintage bicycle community in some way. Some ideas have come and gone as I decide them too much of an undertaking, or not worthy of working on just yet. lectron: Sunday Ride on my CX
http://lectron.blogspot.com/2007/07/sunday-ride-on-my-cx.html
Sunday Ride on my CX. In what must be a typical MTB terrain. This one here doesn't look very steep, but believe me. It is. One of the few walking parts of the trip. It might be ridable with some lighter gearing than 38/28 and some sticky low inflated 2,3" tires. Going into the Norwegian woods. Lagt inn av Regular Guest. Wow, looks like a beautiful place to ride. Thanks. I'm down here each summer, but didn't know there was anything like this around. Well before now that is :). Just another bike-blog (?

lectron: My Fixie is finally done !!
http://lectron.blogspot.com/2007/08/my-fixie-is-finally-done.html
My Fixie is finally done! The frame is an old Raleigh I found in England. Used to be white with some rust shining through. It was delivered with the original track fork (painted that one too), but I kind of chickened out with a fork drilled for brakes. It's build up with a various selection of components. Some would say it's blasphemy not going full campa, but truth is. This started out as a budget project and it's gone way too far already. Pics are of course clickable. Lagt inn av Regular Guest. Another build is coming up. Anyways. Now, only a few blocks away, this frame turns out for sale. Me, with no money to spend on bikes for a looong time, or spend on anything else for that matters, ask this person if he's willing to trade it for a pair of wheels (Shimano 7800. Barely used). And that he is! All the members of the house are exited over getting another bike in the house. The frame is made by Daccordi for a Norwegan brand (DBS) using SLX tubing. Lagt inn av Regular Guest. GF bike build part IV.
