http://postcardsfromdallas.blogspot.com/2008/08/more-reasons-to-celebrate.html
All Ava and Ian, All The Time. Friday, August 1, 2008. More reasons to celebrate. On June 28th, Jose and I had our marriage officially convalidated (blessed) by the Catholic Church. We were originally married in a civil ceremony at our home in October 2005, but we always intended to take this step and have our marriage officially recognized by the church. This Sunday I will also receive my confirmation and first Eucharist at our church. With much love and happiness,. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://postcardsfromdallas.blogspot.com/2008/05/rock-bye.html
All Ava and Ian, All The Time. Monday, May 19, 2008. So many excuses why I haven't added any new info here lately. Ava's turning 2, husband also having a birthday, mom and dad getting settled, busy, busy, etc., etc. But the real reason is that my "free time" (I use the term VERY loosely. Translates into more stuff I do to keep the house running. or at the very least checking email, which I still have many replies that need to be written! Aka nursing to sleep). So tonight, for the first time in a very...

http://postcardsfromdallas.blogspot.com/2009/03/chicken-so-good-it-makes-you-want-to.html
All Ava and Ian, All The Time. Friday, March 13, 2009. Chicken so good it makes you want to slap your momma. Let me recount Ava's experience with dinner last night. And I'll preface this with telling you that she's generally a pretty good eater (even if she asks for a peanut butter " samich. For lunch EVERY day.) She's a little less adventurous than she used to be, but she'll still eat goat cheese on a regular basis, which I find impressive. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ava and Daddys Birthday.

Postcards From Dallas: School....with mommy
http://postcardsfromdallas.blogspot.com/2008/07/schoolwith-mommy.html
All Ava and Ian, All The Time. Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Two weeks ago, we spent the week at VBS. At our church. I volunteered to head up the nursery with a friend of mine. We had a really great time. We had 20 kids under the age of 3, but had plenty of activities and crafts to keep them entertained and happy. Ava had a fantastic time, especially since her favorite buddy Kaden. Was there to play with. She loved going to "school" everyday, so much in fact that we are considering a pre. 365 Days of Trash.
